International Coastal Cleaning

September 15, 2018 • The Dorado Rotary Club collaborated with the international environmental groups Coastal CleanUp and Ocean Conservancy to clean up Playa Parchola, better known as the Velas de Metal Beach in Dorado, Highway 165.

The project leader this year was CR Salvador Soto who spearheaded the event to share it with the INTERACT youth group of the José Santos Alegría High School in Dorado and included more than 20 young people who volunteered including some girls from the Home Lucero de Amor.

Thank you to all of the students, volunteers and everyone who successfully cleaned up approximately 200 lbs!!!
